Aware of the call
to ongoing surrender and conversion, we seek the Holy
Spirit's guidance in prayer and sacrifice as we hold the
Church and the World in our hearts.
By nurturing a contemplative atmosphere in our
community, we hope to mirror God's abiding presence and love
for all people.

Prayer is at the heart of the Poor Clare
life. The Sisters come together to pray seven times a day, and
throughout the day there is time for meditation, quiet and
reflection. All prayer is centered around the Mass, the Eucharistic
thanksgiving of the entire Church.
The Sisters have chosen this vocation of
prayer, penance and solitude in order to give themselves more fully
to the one thing necessary but they do not do it for themselves
alone. They do it for the entire world.
